I'll second the opinion on the quality of the experience. 

I had to remove mine once because I dropped something behind it.  Big 
problem I had was getting the thing out.  I had to remove the coolant 
line that runs by it.  That, in turn caused other fiascos.  Keep in mind 
that the front end (Bumper, condenser, radiator, etc.) can come forward 
about 9" if you pull four bolts.  Had I to do it again, that would be on 
my list to try.
