Just out of curiousity, what should a radiator rehab cost (seals and clean the tank/fins)?
I've got one leaking on a '74 pick-up I need to attend to and local fella is telling me to bring it in to take a look at it. Is this something (parts availibiltiy) I should consider doing out of the garage?
Thanks,
John

The price of copper/brass/etc the last couple years may have a lot
to do with the high pricing you're seeing. Although, the last time I
bought a radiator, a little shopping did manage to cut the price from
well over $200 to closer to $100. That was a few years ago though.
Scary thing I keep seeing is about the same $700 for a radiator for
the '37 Chevy truck. Not sure just what I'll use but the proper fill
cap location would be really nice. They're pressure rads too, not
like the original ones. Not that those won't take pressure...
