Correct me if I am wrong but the 04 and new diesels are 100,000 timing belt intervals so yours was changed really early. I have read on tdiclub.com and in the service manual of this. Just wondering why yours was done so soon. I just ended up installing the full metal jacket on mine as my plastic side covers were broken to pieces (since I bought it). I also installed the Scangauge II and a bypass filter for it to get the soot out. I have had the 2 inch lift on if since spring and love it. Next up is winter tires on a dedicated set of rims. Brother just bought and 05 Jetta wagon and he is in the process of putting his touches on (basically what I have done to my Golf).
