[Vwdiesel] TDI stalling

Naturally, I'm going to be leaving on a 2500-3000 mi. road trip 
tomorrow, but the last couple of days, the engine in the '00 TDI has 
picked up an occasional habit of stalling after starting.  It's not the 
immobilizer issue, as I've seen that before.  That shuts the engine down 
immediately.  Now, it'll run for a second or two then stall.  All but 
one time, it's started and run fine after that, but it's disquieting.  
Any ideas?  It should be fine for the next two weeks, but something 
about nosing the car onto that long long highway makes me a little extra 
cautious.
