  Why do the harder, first part?  Simply start from drained, pull 
the speedo cable and pour in two quarts.  It's really only necessary 
to pull the check plug to either "check" the level (on a 4 speed or 
later, 3 digit code, 5 speeds) or to fill a 4 speed.  The later 5 speeds 
are easily filled the same way.  Drain and fill with 2 quarts/liters.
