Just wanted to say thank you to all that have helped me out in the past.
I'm more of a lurker on here than a donator. I learn every day from
everyone's posts on fixes for all kinds of things and keep them in a file
for later use.  I just recently had problems with my 91 jetta's clutch. It
wasn't disengaging all the way, tried to look at it and figure out how to
adjust it. I was out of town and didn't have my Bentley with me. Turns out
it is the self adjusting cable.  I was able to shim it with a large nut on
the bottom of the cable to give me enough to get me home. Ordered a new one
for $48.  I guess I can't complain since the cable has 228k miles on it.

 

So again, I do not add much information or help out like everyone on here
but I do want to thank all of you for the help I have gotten and the
knowledge from reading everyone's posts.
