  It's always been stated that ME and MF engines ('85 to '92?) but 
that's not the case.  The '85s are still mechanical and maybe some 
early '86's.  My supplier doesn't even list an SB block.  One quick 
search kind of indicates it's the ecodiesel but apparently nothing's 
different.  Just like the Vanagon diesel is a different code but not 
a different engine, that I know of anyway.
