[Vwdiesel] squishy brakes?

Slow sinking does signify a slight leak, but the running out of pedal power, 
is a sign that the vaccuum pump is not replenishing vaccuum fast enough. On 
the Mk2  setup that could be either low oil in sump , or faulty [chipped or 
sticky] vanes  in the pump. Attach a vac gauge in 'boost/servo' line.
