Reply to Doyt W Echelberger. Thank you for the offer but I don't think a Jetta transmission would fit as the Rabbit/Golf/Jetta engines are east west or traverse engines whereas the Dasher & Quantum engines are north south engines. I believe the transmissions are different & the only 5 speed transmission that would fit a Dasher would be from a Quantum. If by chance it would fit, I have a 5 speed Rabbit transmission that could serve as a donor.
