  I'd have my doubts as to how well the super glue will hold, from my  
experiences 
with it.  I WOULD use it however, to hold it in place while you putty it 
up.  If you 
push hard it'll likely let go though.  The thinner it is and the better 
your initial 
alignment of the part, the better luck you should have.  The putty should 
do 
well and do most of the holding.  BUT.  There's a proper, special, epoxy 
that 
radiator shops should have, that should do a much better job.  I know Jake 
found some when he was reworking an intercooler inlet.  Another option 
would 
possibly be some body shop, bumper repair, urethane.  2-part and that 
stuff's 
sweet!  I've only used it to repair a bumper though.
