Andrew should be able to answer this really well, however here is a couple

The bodyof the jack is the reservoir. Seals cope, but care needed to fix the 
'T' piece onto the piston [which is welded/fixed in closed position...

Whilst waiting, why not try that inverted fuel line trick. You only need to 
do it for a few seconds, and duff spray pattern will show up amongst the 
good-uns....
