[Vwdiesel] VW Code scanner

My guess would be that any OBD2 code reader would work. These code readers 
can be bought  at auto parts houses for about the same price or less. I 
don't know if VW & other diesels had to be OBD 2 compliant in 1996 as all 
gas engine cars had to be or whether they were required to be OBD 2 
compliant at a later date.
