[Vwdiesel] Is a 1.5 diesel head interchangeable with the 1.6 diesel head?

It all depends on the head bolt size. The 1.5's use the smaller bolts, as do the early 1.6's. Sometime they changed teh 1.6 to the larger bolts, I think it was in 82. I know for a fact my 1.6 1982 Jetta used the larger bolts, and the 1.5 head I had I needed to bore out to accept the bolts from the Jetta. So, you need to know what size the holes are for those bolts. Other than that, they should be compatible. Unless I'm missing something??
