[Vwdiesel] Is a 1.5 diesel head interchangeable with the 1.6 diesel head?

IT might be that if you put a 1.5 head on a 1.6 block that the drain
will fall inline well enough so as not to leak. I was thinking that it
left a small opening where dirt could get in though. Whereas if you
put a 1.6 head on a 1.5 block it seemed like you could see daylight or
a water hole or something. Been a LONG time since I tried it but
that's how I remember it being. Hyd on a mech block was just loony
for lining up.
