Thanks for that (I read the last post before this one). I imagine the VW gasser studs should work quite well for TD application. As I said before, though, ARP stud kits are very specific to each engine (it is more than a dimensional thing) - as is the toque required to achieve the required gasket clamping force without cylinder head distortion. Before using the gasser studs, I would recommend a call to ARP tech services.
