I don't know what the venting and oil mist issues are, so if mine had
them then it probably still does, but I have at least 5 years on my
daily driver since the vacuum pump rebuild, and it's going great. My
engine is getting worn and has blowby issues, but still has plenty of
power, at least for my taste, so I just keep driving it. I don't know
if the blowby would affect the pump much, but it could.
