[Vwdiesel] Electric oil press gauge & wet floors

I had both a 1.5 and a 1.6 with an oil pressure gauge. Both pegged the gauge
on cold starts. Even when hot, neither was below 20 psi at idle. The
1.5 got retired with over 600K miles on it, and never blew the OP
line.
On the 1.5 I used to use PER - 1 or Fram 8 filters. I never had one go,
but about 1990 Fram started making a heavier cased filter.
Some brand filters are better than others. I used to use cheap filters
because they were readily available, and I changed oil frequently.
