Depends on WHY it's slipping. If it's worn to where there's not
enough pressure or if it's riding on rivets then it ain't gonna help.
If it's all oily from leaks then it might. You might do better with
a mix of degreaser like Super Clean, available cheaply at Wally World.
Stuff a rag in the drain area and run a gallon of mix through it while
working the clutch at idle. I did similar with straight water once and
it helped a bit, for a while.
You'll have to get the bellhousing at least about a third full to get stuff
inside the flywheel to the disk, as Roger pointed out.
It could be glazed, with hot spots, from slipping also.
