[Vwdiesel] '01 Jetta TDI, Head Gasket

So I can safely disconnect the cooler safely to see if bubbles continue to help diagnose that is the problem. Do you forsee any big possiblity of damage if the car is driven for a few days with the coolant portion bypassed to verify by noting if the coolant level drops/doesn't drop anymore?
