[Vwdiesel] Bosch VE pump - throttle lever seal replacement in vehicle?

It can be done with the pump on the car, but as you'd expect you need
to remove the cover, since the shaft comes out the bottom. The only
thing is that to get things back in their right place can be a little
tricky on re-assembly. Unscrewing the fueling screw on the body of the
pump can make this easier.

I'm by no means an expert on them, but I've done that job on a couple
cars with the pump in the car. But I don't know it well enough to be
able to describe the trickiness of getting it back together. Only that
it is possible if you're careful, and not super difficult, but you
can't just slap it back on and expect everything to be okay without
making sure that the right pieces are in the right places in the
throttle linkage right under the cap.
