[Vwdiesel] water leak I guess from sun roof drain in A4 Jetta TDI wagon

This is jetta wagon.  Did not know of a recall in this car for the drain.
I meant to say if I pull the big round rubber plug with nipple out of the hole 
in the door jam will that get me anywehre to inspect further?  Probably not.

The water is leaking down to the right of the glove box, on top of the lower 
plastic kick panel on right side of car, then onto the carpet in the right 
forward corner of the foot well.

Bryan - where are you seeing the water?  You know that there are 4 drains, 2 
front and 2 back? 


I wouldn't take the rubber nipple off, just find a way to keep it from gluing 
itself shut.  I just stuck a smaller piece of hose in there to keep the "valve" 
open.

Not clear on your second paragraph... "Will it pull down some do it can be 
inspected further"?  

It's possible for the hose to come disconnected inside the headliner, which is a 
sad situation...

You know about the recall, right?
