[Vwdiesel] water leak I guess from sun roof drain in A4 Jetta TDI wagon

Make sure your hoses aren't detached right at the sunroof. If so you have to pull the headliner to reattach. The recall from what I have heard cuts the nipple part of the drain so it is more open and flowing. If there is a problem more then that then they are suppose to fix it but all are suppose to get the nipples cut. If they are plugged with dirt you can get a long pipe cleaner brush or something of the likes to lightly push through. To hard and it will disconnect. My issue was the hoses were kinked on the front from being too long. I had to trim and inch of it out to get the kink out (hardened into the kink). To test you can poor some water. Should run out as you poor from the door nipples. Worked great for me. I had standing water when I opened the roof after the rain and once I pulled the kink out the water came gushing out.
