[Vwdiesel] Rubber in gas fuel system

  Yup.  Tried it in the Yamaha 750.  Seemed like it MAYBE helped the octane 

a tad but nothing noticeable otherwise other than they took a while to 
dissolve.  
That was quite a while back but it was still hard to find 
paradichlorobenzine 
moth balls.  They'd mostly gone to the "new stuff."  The toluene worked 
much 
better.  No mileage gain, didn't take much and really did help the pinging. 
 
Don't bother with it though since it was only occasionally needed in the 
Quattro 
and my work van.  Neither of which do I drive anymore.  Usually forget to 
add 
any 2-cycle to any of the diesels too.  That actually does seem to help mpg 

above the addition of it, but just a tad.  Stanadyne seems to help mpg just 

enough to pay for the cost of the product but is good stuff otherwise.
