Yup. Tried it in the Yamaha 750. Seemed like it MAYBE helped the octane
a tad but nothing noticeable otherwise other than they took a while to
dissolve.
That was quite a while back but it was still hard to find
paradichlorobenzine
moth balls. They'd mostly gone to the "new stuff." The toluene worked
much
better. No mileage gain, didn't take much and really did help the pinging.
Don't bother with it though since it was only occasionally needed in the
Quattro
and my work van. Neither of which do I drive anymore. Usually forget to
add
any 2-cycle to any of the diesels too. That actually does seem to help mpg
above the addition of it, but just a tad. Stanadyne seems to help mpg just
enough to pay for the cost of the product but is good stuff otherwise.
