[Vwdiesel] new exhaust system for '84 Rabbit NA?

And only lasts 3years??
Parts of my exhaust are older than my 1988 Quantum. [Off a 1985 one] For
some reason replacements are smaller, or contain the GL5/Syncro middle
silencer. My downpipe has cracked 3 times though, but my good ole MIG lets
even me weld her back up!
