I would not be annoyed, I would just pass him and wave, but I would be driving a
diesel and he would wave back, we are all diesel folks.
Ark, what has gotten into you lately? This is a small group of guys with lots
of experience and time behind all kinds of tools, parts. instruments, presses
and VW diesels.
Some have better tools then others, some have better experience then others but
we all learn from one another most every day and don't ever insult one another
in the more then 10-15 years I have been following these guys.
Hagar was the exception to this rule when he was around, I think he has gone to
VW heaven some years ago. Please to not become another Hagar, your are a good
man and I try to stick up for you.

I think that was at something like 35mpg max and after his "airborne
in the Spruce Goose" tale, probably downhill a lot of the way! ;-)
Maybe imperial as well.
Seemed like Nate claimed about the highest mpg but he admitted that
most people would be annoyed to be stuck behind him. Accelerated
REALLY slowly and only used the brakes to hold the car after rolling to
a stop at lights type of stuff.
