[Vwdiesel] Headlight switch pull knob

Thanks. You're 100% correct. Also, I found the correct answer using
(cough, gasp, vomit) "www.bing.com" and searching on "how to remove mk1
rabbit headlight switch knob". Was the first hit. Could not find it with
Google or other forum searches. I hate Miro$oft, but this surprised me and
I may use Bing more often.

Reach behind the dash panel and depress the release button on the bottom (as
I recall) of
the switch, then pull the knob off. I usually go in with my right hand and
pull the knob
with the left. Then don't forget to push the switch shaft back in,
otherwise the
headlights and/or parking lights will be left on and drain your battery.
