Funny side story, I get "that's a cool vintage car" commonts also, though 
it's not really what I consider "vintage".

So, I went into a parts store about six months ago for a belt for the 86 
4000Q. The lady behind the counter says "what year and model?". I said 86 
Audi 4000 Quattro. She chooses 2006? I said, no, '86. She chooses 96. I said 
no-1986. She looks at me all confused????? To which I kindly replied, "Yes, 
they made cars in 1986, and I still drive one of them". WOW!

Yes, she did eventually find the belt, and I went on my way.

Having said all that, I still get a kick out of driving my old 82
BattleRabbit.  It's ugly, rusty, smelly, slow and for some stupid reason the
kids think it's cool to drive an old MK1.  I just shrug my shoulders and
keep driving...
