The engine is a 1.6 NA diesel from a 84 caddy.
I just don't seem to be able to get anything on the bottom mounting bolt
of my Bosch injection pump.
I removed the small bracket supporting the alternator bracket and timing
belt cover, tried every 13mm I have, swivel 13mm and the 90 degree 13mm tool
to no avail.
Any tricks I should try? I don't want to remove the alternator and mount
if I don't have to.

Bottom back bolt is just weasel in there. Bottom front bolt, you use a
socket from the
front of the engine. When the engine's on TDC, the opening in the
sprocket lines up to
easily put a socket and extension through and loosen it. From '81 on,
they use a bound
lower bolt (the washer for one of the other two is a strap, welded, or
such, to the bottom
one) so you can use a socket. '80 and earlier you need the "special"
curved 13mm or an
assortment of wrenches and work it out a bit at a time.
