[Vwdiesel] More Quantum Questions.

Last winter I was struggling to get my Quantum to run as it wouldn't easily start. I then wired a relay to bring current directly to on/off fuel cut off in the back of the IP. Then a couple weeks ago someone came by to look at the Rabbit diesel project cars I have for sale, showed him my Quantum, & it started right up after sitting around 4 to 6 months. I have been so busy with other projects that I haven't had time to play with it. 

As some of you may recall, following a deer collision last Nov. my Focus was totaled but I kept it for the salvage value & rebuilt it with two used headlights, grill, hood, & right front fender from a junk yard in Sacramento(Rancho Cordova). The insurance proceeds enabled me to be able to buy a low mileage mint 1983 Mercedes 300SD. I anyone aware of a Mercedes diesel discussion group similar to this website or are there enough of you out there knowledgeable on older Mercedes to answer my questions.The Mercedes diesel looks a lot more complicated than my diesel VWs.

When I get to playing with my Quantum, hopefully next week, I will find out if it is a reliable starter.
