[Vwdiesel] stick stuck in cylinder

I have a part/tool retriever with small hooks in a springy metal cable
with a push button at the non-business end.  It is ALMOST small enough to 
fit through a cyl head insert on an IDI diesel.

Barring that, entice bamboo loving termites into the hole.
