I would pull both the injector and the glow plug and find a
way to put vacuum on the injector hole. Keep sucking and releasing
and chance dictates that one of the times the sliver will go
up the injector hole. Or, I could be wrong. Put the piston down a
bit in its travel, maybe two inches down would be good.
