[Vwdiesel] Injectors

The white smoke is likely unburned fuel. That can happen from low compression to not ignite the fuel, bad glow plug at startup or bad injector. It is white as it is more or less boiling the fuel. The black smoke tends to be not enough air for the fuel injected. A bad injector or plugged air filter could do that. Blue smoke tends to be oil that is burning. Is the coolant and oil levels staying the same? With a bad injector it tends to be the nozzle that wears out. Water in fuel is the worst as the water flash boils and explodes tip a little each time. John Deere industrial equipment really doesn't like water in the fuel as they have had tips totally blow off. So there could also be bad fuel as well. Does it feel really underpowered?
