[Vwdiesel] Injectors?

1982 Rabbit L 1.6 n/a... Though I've been told that by the shape of the oil
pan it's actually a Dasher engine.

I'm not sure what year was the switch.  I shouldn't have been so general.
What year car is the OP driving?.  I've dealt with several engines with
mechanical lifters that had the non-stretch crank bolt and the later 1.6
sprocket (notch, not a real key) so the switch to stretch bolts was a fair
bit later than the switch of sprockets.  I don't recall if all the hydro
lifter motors I've dealt with have had stretch crank bolts.  I think my mk2
Bentley for the jetta/golf talks about both kinds of bolts so some time mid
mk2 sounds right.
