[Vwdiesel] Injectors?

Is it from inline to transverse engine mounting, that different pan, or oil 
pickup needed due to engine tilt difference?

Bolt change seems to have been 1981 to 1982  Bolts went from M12 x 1.5, then 
coinciding  with the start of the first of the TD's, but not exclusive to, 
M14 x 1, and then to M14 x 1.5 only, by 1982.

Looks like the M14 x 1 coinided with the dreaded M11 head bolts in the early 
1.6's
