so second use is a lower torque...?
also can i just take the short block, heads already off to the car wash to do the preliminary cleaning before breaking open case..
even if not for this build these questions are for my general info anyway thanks..
..will the car wash chemicals affect anything...especially will they affect aluminum......

hate to say it but this is my first and its a subaru turbo engine for my baja beetle. but if this one goes well its on to my 1.5 na diesel with lots of blowby.

rebuild kit sources?

is there anything i can visually inspect for when i look at the block before cleaning.
cracks right.......certain carbon deposits......
