  Same concept.  If the compression ratio is correct, how do you get too 
much 
compression?  You simply get WAY less blowby, slightly better mileage and 
power, slightly cleaner oil and at least when new, cleaner smelling 
exhaust.  
I've used them in 3 and will in a 4th whenever I get the Audi TD rebuilt.
