  Usualyl that high of oil usage is turbo but then again, usually on a 
gasser.
Hard to use that much unless a seal is toast (haven't seen one yet) or the 
return line is plugged, kinked or somehow restricted.  
  If it's a KKK turbo, you need a "spline" wrench to get a couple of the 
bolts 
out (I've lost two so far, forget the size).  They're not hard to do but is 
a really 
good idea to have the assy balanced on reassembly.
  Looks like a fair price on the kits.  I have a couple sources that are a 
little cheaper 
but it took a lot of digging to get them.
