Ha, ha! I had such a goal at one time. Problem is I bought cars I know.
 I
KNOW cars that I like and thus read, study, etc. Buy a good car, that I
know
and like, cheap and... I still have all of them other than the 1980
Subaru, and
my wife's' 1975 Monte Carlo (454/TH400, would like to have kept that but
couldn't
afford to drive or rebuild) and 1996 Caravan.

Sounds like you'd better consider BUYING a tow dolly. I always liked the
U-haul
car trailers. They tow like they aren't even there and I guess they DO
sell them
from time to time.
I think most of us would take deals like that Cabrio, if we found them!
As slow
as work is, if the economy was just a bit better I'd strongly consider
doing such
a thing. The other problem is that almost every car I ever bought has gone
down
in value immediately after I bought it, regardless of what the market trend
had
been (ie my Porsches). Sure shoulda unloaded a couple of the VW diesels
two
years ago when the prices went stupid...
