[Vwdiesel] Rabbit Hunting!

The AAA tow truck is likely (*hopefully...) getting close to my house with the newest acquisition: an 81 Diesel Rabbit.  Yellow 4-door.  Not sure which transmission is in there.  

The guy I bought it from is a friend.  He said he bought it from a kid who told him that last fall (a bit over a year ago) it stopped starting when it got colder.  My friend bought it this past summer, put glow plugs in but never made any progress beyond that.  (Fuel rail lines are disconnected even.)

So I'm crossing my fingers that once it is put back together and a battery is in it'll start up!

*Car was in Lawrence, about 80 miles away so I just had AAA tow it home.  The truck loaded it up and took off a few minutes before we did and we stopped for fuel so I figured we'd get to my house as he was starting to unload.  Well, shortly after getting fuel we saw the truck stopped on the side of the road, hooking up a blue Beetle!  So I presume he'll drop that where ever and then head to my house.  

I should have had my friend stop and then I could offer my services and have him drop both cars at my house!
