Yes, on ebay you could find one, but make sure it's a metric one! Those
adapters don't work too well on an American indicator. (I can't think of the
opposite of metric - imperial?)

I used an adapter on a non-metric indicator for years, and if I was careful
it worked, but I really had to do it just right for the threads to hold. The
whole problem was getting the long piece to screw into the dial indicator
shaft and hold, but if I squinted just right or something I could get it to
be just tight enough to get a good reading. Just a little past there and it
would skip a thread.

So you could kind of make it work, but if you're buying one anyway, just get
a metric one and it is SO much easier! :)
