[Vwdiesel] pulley alignment

At one time I replaced the tensioner pulley and got one with an 028 number
instead of 038. It rode considerably closer to the engine block than the
038 and had to be removed because it was out of alignment. Might you have
gotten an 028 water pump instead of 038? I don't have one for comparison,
but the situation with the tensioner pulley immediately came to mind.

We could certainly slow the aging process
down if it had to work its way through Congress.
