Hi Folks; Thanks for the pump timing advice. I had it timed at 1.0 and it
wouldn't idle except with the cold start pulled out. Push the cold start in
and it smoked like a forest fire and idled rough if at all. We loosened the
pump bolts a little and used a rubber hammer to time it. It runs like a
scalded ape now with no smoke at idle or at speed and it is much cooler on
the pyro. At 70 mph it registers just over 600 degrees F on my pyro which is
placed as close as possible post turbo.

resealed by Diesel Injection Service Portland OR

Thermostatically controlled sandwich plate 

to oil cooler from a gas turbo Volvo

Cone filter intake 

2.25 inch exhaust system

5 speed 9Q tranny from a Quantum

185-60-14  tires on Audi Alloy rims

Battery moved to rear right side between inner fender and rear hatch

Isspro Pyrometer ( Never run a turbo diesel without one)

This is now one sweet running diesel. Hoping for close to 50 mpg When driven
sanely which might not be often.

I am planning on running an intercooler at a future date.
