I was thinking the same thing, He may have been looking over your shoulder and helping you hit the pump flandge just right Brian.
So you retarted the timing back to around .92mm or so I guess. Would love to drive that puppy sometime..
congrads on your motor find, it was worth it in the end. Would have been nicer if some ATF would have freshened up the pump and no reseal $$ job was needed, but you can't win them all.

Hillbilly tuning works, Hagar (RIP) was right !
