I took a flapper wheel to the friction disk and flywheel since the friction disk was the same thickness of the new one for the larger shaft. So I still need to find a friction disk sometime PN 068 141 037 MX and is a valeo. I really don't want to go with Prothe who seems to be the only one that has it.

I think mine is just a little too loose between that and the ball part that mounts on the bottom there is a lot of play between the two and I have a tough time getting and staying in reverse. I don't care to pay abour $150 for a short throw kit that has a new shaft but I will if it saves my gears.I can't think grinding out of gear is good for reverse. I am thinking I will go with Rogers new replacement ball for the ball deal to tighten that up some. The rest of the system is all his already.

The best shafts and the little arms with the ball on the end I have run across are the OEM
parts. They fit the best, seem to have an exact match of the shape of the end of the
shaft and the hole in the arm. All the aftermarket ones I have seen are pretty sloppy
fit. See if you can grab one or both from a junkyard.

This is the main reason we make the short throw arm to bolt onto the original arm, since
it has the least slop in that bottom connection. Why try and replace a perfectly good part?
