[Vwdiesel] PROTHE on ebay??

One thing to remember RE ebay feedback is how RAPIDLY that feedback has to be left to be accepted. You may not have problems in the first thirty days with your timing belt kit or head, but after four months it disintegrates and trashes your engine or drops a valve seat... most eBay feedback is left when a package arrives and it wasn't all in pieces on arrival, that's a "great product will buy again +++A great seller!!!" Feedback situation for most.

One of the big issues with him is the enormous proliferation of "businesses" he starts. When one starts getting bad press, another pops up. Same stuff, same 'BBB' rating, same everything.

There was a big string of issues with injection pumps he was selling last year. Pumps would be sold as "install, time and drive" items but were shipped with backwards throttle springs, poorly indexed internals, untorqued delivery valves... but most of those with issues never got a functioning pump or a refund, and in most cases he stopped answering emails or phone calls very, very quickly.

It isn't an instance of a single individual having issues, but a continued trend of apathetic service and poor quality parts. If you don't have problems, then the service is mediocre-plus. Once you have an issue with a part, it all goes downhill.

I would agree with Brian here. He seems to be considered a fraud or bad guy on TDI club but he has an A+ rating with the BBB on ebay and his feed back is overwhelmingly positive. So either the TDIClub guys are overly negative about him OR (and this is the most likely thing) one person felt like he got a bad deal and by the time it was all over TDIclub, he was an evil, child eating, satan worshiping, chinese scammer. I have bought stuff from him and never been "scammed" You do get what you pay for to a point but so many parts are made in china that you really can't get around that. I bought a Mk1 Jetta headlight switch that was made in China from an online supplier, I don't feel like I was scammed at all, as it was the only place I could find one. Hayden
