Well, I've made some head way, I  found Futurelec has the FLOWFUEL30L0, which will handle 2.0 -30 liters per hour. And then I found an Arduino design that has 2 inputs, and the code's written  so you can add more ( http://davebmiller.wordpress.com/2011/01/18/arduino-flowmeter/ ). The code is used to monitor 5 washing machines using dual sensors for hot & cold water consumption. Now I need to find a suitable inline sensor for the Speedometer.
