You may want to double check things. One time I didn't have the slot lined up and after starting it-it lined up and it was jumping everywhere. Then the parts place pump I bought after 20 miles siezed up on me (oil pressure at zero). I had the old pump yet and I bolted it on and kept driving back home after work. They exchanged for free and it was good to go now for a lot of miles. If your oil press light is on-you NEED to find out why. Get a gauge on so you can see how much you are getting.
