[Vwdiesel] caddy questions

On #1, might open up the door and have a look at the mechanism and see what operates 
differently between the inside and outside actuation.  I did that on a "hard to open from 
the outside" door handle and got it working perfectly:

Just takes a little time to study the mechanism and learn how it works and then pick up on 
the subtle differences in operation in it from the in and out side.
