Hey Doug.
Good you to hear have the 98 on the road. How do you like it so far?
Fratelli Bosio makes stock replacement as well as those intended for
increased flow and performance. You will not go wrong with upsizing a tad
either, I actually found a slight increase in mileage with the powerplus
520's from Kerma.

He's good to deal with, I've bought at least five sets from him over the
years, shipped promptly, nothing but good experiences, good advice, etc....
(unless something recently has gone horribly wrong). He's in Avon CO, not
too far out of the way from you, shipping should be overnight. I found stock
replacement sizing to be a little light on torque- remember you are
replacing a rather worn (bigger) injector tip, with a smaller one (unworn),
and will notice a net decrease in power from what you currently have when
you replace the old tips with new ones. I have never found it so noticeable
as in a VE powered tdi. Put in new, fresh, and stock, and it's a dog.
Going to the 520's was not so much a step up in power, but will keep the
extra you have with worn tips, without smoke and better economy. More than
520's isn't of much benefit unless you change the programming, as in a mild
chip or tuner box.
It's too bad, Fred's TDI site has gone to the dogs for the most part. Hard
to find the real info in amongst the mewling syncophants. It used to be so
awesome... and now sad, and quite frustrating, especially as I get older and
suffer fools less well.

Hi guys, I posted this on the TDI forum, but I'm a bit overwhelmed by that
site, maybe someone on here can help.
I'm new to this TDI forum, just having upgraded to a TDI (been running 1.6T
cars for years). This 98 Jetta TDI has 199000 miles on it. Had to buy a new
Bosch #3 injector with sensor to clear faults and pass Calif smog check. Now
I want to get original matching stock Bosch nozzles for the other three
injectors and am having trouble finding anywhere to get em. Maybe I
shouldn't even be bothering (am aware of Bosio), but tend towards using
original equipment parts. Any suggestions are appreciated! Doug Ferguson
