Apparently not if you're from out of state then.  I've heard  from 
several people "Don't speed in Oregon!!!"  Many from WA have been 
pulled over for just a couple over.  Most of the troopers I've talked  to 
here, allow 7mph, if you aren't doing something stupid.  I rarely will 
push it past 4mph over.
 
  Thanks for the original heads up though, t dv!  They usually  don't go 
for speed trap stunts on that side of the mountains.  My nephew 
commented the other week how he hadn't had a speeding ticket 
since he moved to the Puget Sound area.  He's even passed cops 
at over 70mph, in a 60mph and they just wave.
